Jimena Lentini nació en Mar del Plata, Argentina, en Marzo de 1987. Desde pequeña su afición por las cámaras, la fotografía y el video se hicieron presentes. Tempranamente se identificó con la belleza del mundo a través de su perspectiva, observando recortes de la realidad que contenían miles de historias en miles de planos. Un entrenamiento que se destaca en el presente de sus trabajos.
Jimena describe lo que hace como "fotografía poética". Haciendo alución a la realidad que se crea a través de una imagen, a todos los detalles significativos de la misma y mayormente, al contenido simbólico que esta guarda. Sus trabajos son la fusión entre sus estudios de cine, fotografía y video y su aprendizaje espiritual, ambos en constante expansión. En sus imágenes contempla la composición desde el encuadre bidemensional de figura/fondo, hasta la multidimensión de planos que entiende y percibe de los mismos, buscando conformar una historia que se mantiene activa en el tiempo, más allá de la estaticidad de la imagen.
Su formación oficial comenzó en el 2006 cuando, después de terminar la secundaria, entró en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata para estudiar Comunicación Audiovisual. Al final del mismo año viajó por primera vez a Estados Unidos, en donde trabajó como fotógrafa para Sharpshooters Imaging en Deer Valley Mountain, un centro de ski de Park City, en Utah. Este trabajo le permitió la puesta en práctica de la dirección de los sujetos, la composición cromática y el manejo de las cámaras DSLR.
En 2011, después de 4 temporadas en Park City, viajó a Nueva Zelanda, en donde también trabajó como fotógrafa para Snofoto en Cardrona Alpine Resort, en Wanaka. En ese mismo viaje comenzó su descubrimiento y estudio del camino espiritual. Prácticas de meditación, yoga, estudio de los chakras y la devoción por la naturaleza se volvieron fundamentales.
A su vuelta a Argentina en 2012, trabajó como fotógrafa para Fotoshow en las playas de Mar del Plata. También a partir de ese año se dedicó a enriquecer su propia firma como artísta. Fotografíando mayormente a músicos, actores y profesores de yoga fue que le dio forma a su estilo y al concepto de fotografía poética. Durante ese período trabajó en múltiples videoclips para músicos locales y participó en varios productos audiovisuales como asistente de dirección, productora y cámara con Jorge Della Chiessa, Julio Lascano y Carlos Lascano, entre ellos la serie de televisión "Academia de seducción" dirigida por J. Lascano, en donde trabajó en el equipo técnico como cámara y dirigió el Capitulo Cero.
En 2015 viajó a Brasil, en donde trabajó para Focalizarte en Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, sacando fotos a turístas en barcos, playas y bajo el agua. También allí estudio durante algunos meses Fisioterápia en el PSHI, un centro espiritual de la ciudad. Allí aprendió masajes terapeuticos, meridianos y la influencia de la mente sobre los malestares del cuerpo.
Actualmente se encuentra viajando por España, también trabajando como fotógrafa, y aprendiendo las técnicas del Reiki.

Jimena Lentini was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, on March 1987. Since early ages, her fondness for cameras, photography and video was shown. She was identified with the beauty of the world throught her perspective, looking at frames of reality picturing thousands of stories in thousands of planes. A training that highlights in the present of her work.
Jimena descrives what she does as "Poetic Photography" referring to the reality that builds up throught an image, to all of the significant details of it and mainly, to the simbolic content that it holds. Her works are the fusion between her studies on cinema, video and photography and her spiritual learning, both constantly growing. In her images she contemplates the background/figure bidimentional framing as well as the multidimentionality of planes she understands and perceives, looking forward to create a story that remains active trought time, beyond the image staticity.
Her oficial learning begun in 2006 when, after finishing school, she got in the Fine Arts School at the National University of La Plata to study Audiovisual Comunication. At the end of that year she travelled to United States for the first time where she started to work as a touristic mountain photographer for Sharpshooters Imaging at Deer Valley Mountain, a ski resort in Park City, Utah. That job gave her the oportunity to practice on posing/directing people, chromatic composition and the management of DSLR cameras.
In 2011, after 4 winter seasons in Park City, she travelled to New Zealand, where she also worked as a mountain photographer for Snofoto, at Cardrona Alpine Resort, in Wanaka. In this same trip she discover and started studying the spitirual path. Meditation, yoga, chakra studies and devotion to nature became fundamental.
Back in Argentina in 2012, she worked as a beach photographer for Fotoshow in Mar del Plata. Also during that year she was dedicate to the enrichment of her own signature as an artist. Taking pictures mainly of musicians, actors and yoga teachers she defined her style and the poetic photography concept. Along that period she worked in several music videos for local musicians and participated in different audiovisual products as director assistant, producer and camera with Jorge Della Chiessa, Julio Lascano and Carlos Lascano such as the local TV serie "Academia de Seducción" directed by J. Lascano where she worked in the photography area and directed the Chapter Zero.
In 2015 she travelled to Brazil, where she worked for Focalizarte in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, taking pictures on ships, beaches and underwater. There as well she studied Physioteraphy for a few months at the PSHI, a spiritual center, where she learned therapeutic massages, body meridians and the power of the mind upon body illnesses.
At the moment she is travelling in Spain, working as a photographer and learning techniques of Reiki.
